FOR THE CAPE TOWN CYCLE TOUR

The Cape Town Cycle Tour is the largest, timed cycling event in the world and is scheduled for Sunday, March 2026.

After a sustained effort to allow children with disabilities to participate in the Cape Town Cycle Tour we have managed to secure spots in the 2019 tour to allow 15 children to be towed by super-human cyclists together with support riders and other volunteer riders for the cause. In 2017 we entered 4 buggy teams, in 2018 we had 10 buggies cross the finish line and in 2019 our fleet will grew to 15 buggy teams in 2020, with a total of 48 team members.

This is your opportunity to #BrandABuggy and give a differently-abled child the gift of adventure. In return the sponsor will get exposure during the race itself through branding on the buggies and/or cycling gear, on training rides, acknowledgement in social media, video coverage, the WOW website, radio interviews, and other channels. With 35,000 cyclists on the road and thousands of spectators along the way, your company branding will receive invaluable exposure in return for your support of our buggy teams.

In 2017 to 2020, we partnered with Cape Town Tourism on this initiative to promote universal access in tourism and sporting activities. In 2018 we also had buggies sponsored by Cape Nature and The Diamond Works (both returning to sponsor again in 2019), Pedal Power Association, and Enterprise Solutions 365, and in 2019 we were joined by Livewire Engineering.
